اهل

أَهْلِىٌّ ذ A domestic beast [or bird]; a beast [or bird] that keeps to the dwelling [ of its owner ]; (JK, Msb, K, TA;) contr. of وَحْشِىٌّ; (TA;) as also ↓ أَهِلٌ. (K.) You say حُمُرٌ أَهْلِيَّةٌ [ Domestic asses ]: (JK, TA:) occurring in a trad., in which their flesh is forbidden to be eaten. (TA.)
