انى

أَتَيْتُهُ اآنِيَةً بَعْدَ اآنِيَةٍ ذ is a phrase mentioned by AAF, meaning I came to him time after time: in which, [says ISd,] I am of opinion that اآنية is of the measure فَاعِلَةٌ from الاـنَى: but the word commonly known is اآوِنَة [pl. of أَوَانٌ; or اآيِنَة, which is syn. with اآوِنَة: see أَوَانٌ].
