ارم

أَرْضٌ أَرْمَاآءُ ذ Land in which there is not a root, or stock, of a tree; as though it were ↓ مَأْرُومَة [or extirpated ]: (O:) or land in which neither root nor branch is left; as also ↓ مَأْرُومَةٌ. (M, K.)
