[اـِدَامٌ is explained in the T and S &c. by the words مَا يُؤْتَدَمُ بِهِ, meaning That which is used for seasoning bread.] ― -b2- ائتدم العُودُ (tropical:) The wood, or branch, had the sap (المَاآء) flowing in it.
