شوب

شَوْبَةٌ ذ Deceit, delusion, guile, or circumvention: (K: [see also شَوْبٌ:]) [or, app., somewhat thereof: ] one says, فِى فُلَانٍ شَوْبَةٌ [ In such a one is deceit, &c.]. (TA.)
