شنء

مَشْنُوْءٌ ذ , applied to a man, (S,) Hated, (S, and so in some copies of the K, [see also شَنْاآن,]) or rendered hateful, or an object of hatred, (so accord. to other copies of the K,) even if beautiful, or comely; (S, K;) and مَشْنُوٌّ and مَشْنِىٌّ signify the same. (K in art. شنو.)
