شمل

شِمْلَةٌ ذ A mode, or manner, of اِشْتِمَال [or wrapping oneself with a garment as expl. above: see 8]. (K, TA.) الشِمْلَةُ الصَّمَّاآءُ is That [ mode of wrapping oneself ] which is without a shirt and without drawers beneath; in the case of which, prayer is disliked. (TA.
