4 اشقاهُ ا@للّٰهُ ذ God caused him to be unprosperous, unfortunate, unhappy, or miserable; contr. of أَسْعَدَهُ: (S, * Msb, TA:) or God caused him to be in a state of straitness, distress, adversity, or difficulty: and so ↓ شَقَاهُ. (K.) -A2- And اشقى He combed. (AZ, K. [See مِشْقًى.])
