مُشَفَّعٌ ذ One whose intercession is accepted: hence the Kur-án is termed by Ibn-Mes'ood مُشَفَّعٌ ↓ شَافِعٌ, i. e. An intercessor of which the intercession will be accepted, for him who follows it and does according to what is in it, that his unpremeditated transgressions may be forgiven. (O, TA.)
