شَفَّافٌ ذ Extremely [or very ] thin or fine or delicate, so that a thing behind it is visible: (KL:) [ translucent: ] transparent: applied to a gem, or the like; and to a garment, or piece of cloth. (TA.) [See also شَفٌّ.]
