شعب

مِشْعَبٌ ذ An instrument by means of which a crack in a [ wooden bowl or some other ] thing is repaired [ by piecing it ]; an instrument used for perforating, a drill, or the like, (K, TA,) by means of which the شَعَّاب repairs a vessel. (TA.)
