شطر

3 شَاطَرْتُهُ مَالِى ذ I halved with him my property; (S, K;) I retained half of my property and gave him the other half. (M, TA.) ― -b2- And شَاطَرْتُ طَلِيِّى I left for my lamb, or kid, one teat [ of the mother ], having milked the other teat and bound it with the صِرَار [q. v.]. (S.)
