شرق

مُشَرِّقٌ ذ Taking to the direction of the east, or place of sunrise: one says, شَتَّانَ بَيْنَ مُشَرِّقٍ وَمُغَرِّبٍ [ Different, or widely different, are one going towards the east and one going towards the west ]. (S.)
