نَحْنُ حُبٌّ أَنَّى سَرَيْنَا وَخِصْبٌ نَحْنُ وَالصُّبْحُ تَوْأَمٌ أَوْ خَلِيلُ. قُلْ لِصُفْرِ الحُقُولِ، فِي الشَّرْقِ تَذْوِي نَحْنُ وَالرِّيُّ فَابْشِرِي، يَا حُقُولُ. العَذَارَى غَدًا حَيَاةٌ وَحُبٌّ وَانْطِلَاقٌ يَبْنِي، وَبَيْتٌ جَمِيلُ. يَا لِأَطْفَالِنَا غَدًا وَالرَّوَابِي وَالشَّوَاقِي عَلَى خُطَاهُمْ هَدِيلُ. إِنْ مَضَيْنَا، وَلَمْ نَذُقْ، فَهَنِيئًا رُبَّ جِيلٍ يَبْنِي لِيَسْعَدَ جِيلُ. نَحْنُ عِرْقٌ مِنَ المَحَبَّةِ مِعْطَاءٌ، سَخِيٌّ مُهَذَّبٌ مَصْقُولُ. حُبُّنَا الحُبُّ مَا تَأَنَّقَ عَنْ ذُلٍّ وَلَا مَسَّ حُبَّنَا تَدْجِيلُ. نَحْنُ طِيبٌ، وَالطَّيِّبُونَ كَثِيرٌ لَيْسَ مِنَّا إِنَّ الكِرَامَ قَلِيلُ. شَرْحُ المُفْرَدَاتِ: سَرَى: سَارَ لَيْلًا. خِصْبٌ: نَمَاءٌ. تَذْوِي: تَذْبُلُ. الرَّوَابِي: مَا ارْتَفَعَ مِنَ الأَرْضِ. عِرْقٌ: أَصْلٌ. تَدْجِيلٌ: كَذِبٌ.
