بَابُ فَضْلِ الْعِلْمِ تَعَلُّمًا وَتَعْلِيمًا لِلَّهِ. الْعُلَمَاءُ وَلَا يَبْقَى إِلَّا هَؤُلَاءِ الرُّؤَسَاءُ الْجُهَّالُ الَّذِينَ يُفْتُونَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ، فَيَضِلُّونَ بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَيُضِلُّونَ غَيْرَهُمْ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَعَمَلًا صَالِحًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَاسِعًا.

Chapter: The Virtue of Learning and Teaching for the Sake of God.
الْعُلَمَاءُ وَلَا يَبْقَى إِلَّا هَؤُلَاءِ الرُّؤَسَاءُ الْجُهَّالُ الَّذِينَ يُفْتُونَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ، فَيَضِلُّونَ بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَيُضِلُّونَ غَيْرَهُمْ.
When scholars are gone, only ignorant leaders will remain. They issue rulings without knowledge, leading both themselves and others astray.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَعَمَلًا صَالِحًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَاسِعًا.
O God, we ask You for beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, and generous, wholesome provision.
