بَابُ تَخْفِيفِ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ وَبَيَانِ مَا يُقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا وَبَيَانِ وَقْتِهِمَا -١١٠٩ -

(from previous page) ⟵ And look: The commentary on Sahih Muslim by our honorable Sheikh, the commentator, may Allah Almighty have mercy on him, Chapter on the lightening of the two rak'ahs of Fajr and clarification of what is recited in them and clarification of their time.

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: رَمَقْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ شَهْرًا فَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ: {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} وَ{قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ}.

1109 - Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I watched the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for a month, and he would recite 'Say, O disbelievers' and 'Say, He is Allah, the One' in the two units before the dawn prayer.

رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، وَقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ () (١)
