بَابُ فَضْلِ الِاخْتِلَاطِ بِالنَّاسِ وَحُضُورِ جُمَعِهِمْ وَجَمَاعَاتِهِمْ، وَمَشَاهِدِ الْخَيْرِ، وَتَجَالُسِ الذِّكْرِ مَعَهُمْ، وَعِيَادَةِ مَرِيضِهِمْ، وَحُضُورِ جَنَائِزِهِمْ، وَمُوَاسَاةِ مُحْتَاجِهِمْ، وَإِرْشَادِ جَاهِلِهِمْ، وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ مِنْ مَصَالِحِهِمْ لِمَنْ قَدَرَ عَلَى الْأَمْرِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَقَمَعَ نَفْسَهُ عَنِ الْإِيذَاءِ وَصَبَرَ عَلَى الْأَذَى. اعْلَمْ أَنَّ الِاخْتِلَاطَ بِالنَّاسِ عَلَى الْوَجْهِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْتُهُ هُوَ الْمُخْتَارُ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَسَائِرُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ وَسَلَامُهُ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَكَذَلِكَ الْخُلَفَاءُ الرَّاشِدُونَ، وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ، وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ مِنْ عُلَمَاءِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَخْيَارِهِمْ، وَهُوَ مَذْهَبُ أَكْثَرِ التَّابِعِينَ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ، وَبِهِ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَأَكْثَرُ الْفُقَهَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ. قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: ﴿وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبَرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى﴾. وَالْآيَاتُ فِي مَعْنَى مَا ذَكَرْتُهُ كَثِيرَةٌ مَعْلُومَةٌ.

بَابُ فَضْلِ الِاخْتِلَاطِ بِالنَّاسِ وَحُضُورِ جُمَعِهِمْ وَجَمَاعَاتِهِمْ، وَمَشَاهِدِ الْخَيْرِ، وَتَجَالُسِ الذِّكْرِ مَعَهُمْ، وَعِيَادَةِ مَرِيضِهِمْ، وَحُضُورِ جَنَائِزِهِمْ، وَمُوَاسَاةِ مُحْتَاجِهِمْ، وَإِرْشَادِ جَاهِلِهِمْ، وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ مِنْ مَصَالِحِهِمْ لِمَنْ قَدَرَ عَلَى الْأَمْرِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَقَمَعَ نَفْسَهُ عَنِ الْإِيذَاءِ وَصَبَرَ عَلَى الْأَذَى.
Chapter: The virtue of engaging with others, attending their communal prayers and gatherings, participating in virtuous events, sitting in circles of remembrance, visiting the sick, attending funerals, comforting the needy, and teaching the uninformed. This applies to those capable of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, provided they restrain themselves from causing harm and remain patient when harmed by others.
اعْلَمْ أَنَّ الِاخْتِلَاطَ بِالنَّاسِ عَلَى الْوَجْهِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْتُهُ هُوَ الْمُخْتَارُ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَسَائِرُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ وَسَلَامُهُ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَكَذَلِكَ الْخُلَفَاءُ الرَّاشِدُونَ، وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ، وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ مِنْ عُلَمَاءِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَخْيَارِهِمْ، وَهُوَ مَذْهَبُ أَكْثَرِ التَّابِعِينَ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ، وَبِهِ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَأَكْثَرُ الْفُقَهَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ.
Understand that this manner of engaging with people was the preferred path of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and all the prophets. It was also the way of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, the Companions who followed them, the Successors, and the virtuous scholars of the Muslim community. This represents the position held by the majority of the Successors and those who came after them, including Al-Shafi'i, Ahmad, and most other jurists, may Allah be pleased with them all.
قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: ﴿وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبَرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى﴾.
Allah the Almighty says: "Cooperate in righteousness and piety."
