إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ، نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ، وَنَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا، مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللَّهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ، وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، أَرْسَلَهُ اللَّهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ؛ فَبَلَّغَ الرِّسَالَةَ، وَأَدَّى الْأَمَانَةَ، وَنَصَحَ الْأُمَّةَ، وَجَاهَدَ فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ حَتَّى أَتَاهُ الْيَقِينُ، فَصَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ وَسَلَامُهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ، وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ:

Praise belongs to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the wickedness of our own souls and from our misdeeds. Whoever Allah guides, none can lead astray; whoever He leaves to stray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, having no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Allah sent him with guidance and the true religion. He conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, counseled the nation, and strove for Allah as He deserves to be striven for until death came to him. May the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, his family, his companions, and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment. To proceed:

فَلِصَاحِبِ الْفَضِيلَةِ شَيْخِنَا الْعَلَّامَةِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْعُثَيْمِينِ -رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى- آثَارٌ عِلْمِيَّةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ فِي مَجَالَاتٍ مُتَنَوِّعَةٍ مِنْ مَيَادِينِ الْعُلُومِ الشَّرْعِيَّةِ وَقَوَاعِدِ النَّحْوِ وَالْبَلَاغَةِ، تَمَيَّزَتْ جَمِيعُهَا بِوُضُوحِ الْمَعَانِي وَالْأَلْفَاظِ، فَكَانَ الْإِقْبَالُ عَلَيْهَا كَبِيرًا وَاسْتَفَادَ مِنْهَا طَلَبَةُ الْعِلْمِ، وَغَيْرُهُمْ، وَمَا ذَلِكَ إِلَّا لِثِقَةِ النَّاسِ بِفَضِيلَتِهِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى وَبِعُمْقِ مَعْرِفَتِهِ بِالْأَحْكَامِ الشَّرْعِيَّةِ، وَرُسُوخِهِ فِي الْعِلْمِ، وَكَفَاءَتِهِ الْفَائِقَةِ الَّتِي وَهَبَهَا الْمَوْلَى بِفَضْلِهِ وَكَرَمِهِ - فَصَارَ أَهْلًا لِلْفَتْوَى وَتَصَدَّى لِلتَّعْلِيمِ وَالتَّأْلِيفِ وَالدَّعْوَةِ إِلَى اللَّهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى.

Our virtuous Sheikh, the scholar Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen—may Allah have mercy on him—left behind numerous scholarly works across various religious disciplines, including grammar and rhetoric. These works are distinguished by their clarity of expression and meaning, which led to their widespread popularity and benefit among students of knowledge and others. This success stems from the public's trust in his virtue, his profound grasp of religious rulings, his firm grounding in knowledge, and the exceptional competence granted to him by the Lord’s grace and generosity. Consequently, he became a trusted authority for fatwas, teaching, writing, and calling people to Allah, the Exalted.

وَكَانَ مِنْ أَعْمَالِهِ الْجَلِيلَةِ - رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عِنَايَتُهُ بِالْمُتُونِ الْعِلْمِيَّةِ وَشَرْحِهَا وَالتَّعْلِيقِ عَلَيْهَا وَتَوْضِيحِهَا وَتَقْرِيبِهَا لِلدَّارِسِينَ، وَقَدِ اخْتَارَ فِي مَيْدَانِ الْبَلَاغَةِ أَنْ يَشْرَحَ لِطُلَّابِهِ - فِي دُرُوسِهِ الْعِلْمِيَّةِ الَّتِي كَانَ يَعْقِدُهَا فِي جَامِعِهِ بِعُنَيْزَةَ- مَا وَرَدَ فِي دُرُوسِ الْبَلَاغَةِ مِنْ كِتَابِ: (قَوَاعِدِ اللُّغَةِ الْعَرَبِيَّةِ) لِلْأَسَاتِذَةِ: (حِفْنِي نَاصِف،

Among his noble contributions—may Allah have mercy on him—was his dedication to scholarly texts, which he explained, annotated, clarified, and simplified for students. In the field of rhetoric, he chose to teach his students the lessons found in the book Rules of the Arabic Language by the professors Hifni Nasif, during the scholarly sessions he held at his mosque in Unaizah.
