أَقْرَأُ النَّصَّ الْآتِيَ، ثُمَّ أَخْتَارُ الْكَلِمَةَ الْمُنَاسِبَةَ مِمَّا تَحْتَهُ خَطٌّ لِكُلِّ صُورَةٍ مَعَ مُلَاحَظَةِ رَسْمِ الطَّاءِ وَالظَّاءِ.

Read the following text, then choose the appropriate underlined word for each picture, paying attention to the spelling of the letters Taa and Zaa.

عُدْتُ إِلَى وَطَنِي بَعْدَ أَنْ سَافَرْتُ وَاغْتَرَبْتُ غُرْبَتَيْنِ.

I returned to my homeland after traveling and living abroad twice.

عُدْتُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي أَحْبَبْتُهَا حُبًّا عَظِيمًا.

I returned to the land I have loved so deeply.

إِلَى الْوَطَنِ الَّذِي فِيهِ أَبْصَرْتُ النُّورَ.

To the homeland where I first saw the light.

إِلَى أَهْلِي الَّذِينَ شَهِدُوا طُفُولَتِي.

To my family who witnessed my childhood.

إِلَى وَالِدَيَّ اللَّذَيْنِ كَانَا - بَعْدَ اللَّهِ - سَبَبَ وُجُودِي.

To my parents who were, after God, the reason for my existence.

إِلَى جَارَاتِي اللَّوَاتِي بَشَّرْنَ بِوِلَادَتِي.

To my neighbors who announced the news of my birth.

إِلَى أُخْتَيَّ اللَّتَيْنِ رَعَتَانِي فِي صِغَرِي.

To my two sisters who cared for me in my youth.

إِلَى أَخَوَيَّ اللَّذَيْنِ لَاعَبَانِي، وَكَانَا يَدْرَآنِ السُّوءَ عَنِّي.

To my two brothers who played with me and protected me from harm.

إِلَى وَالِدِي الَّذِي كَانَ مَثَلًا صَالِحًا لِي.

To my father who was a virtuous example for me.

عُدْتُ إِلَى الدِّيَارِ الْحَبِيبَةِ، أَحْتَضِنُ الْأَشْجَارَ الَّتِي تَفَيَّأْتُ ظِلَالَهَا.

I returned to my beloved home, embracing the trees under whose shade I once rested.

أَشُمُّ التُّرَابَ الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَخُطُّ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْمَاضِي الْأَفْكَارَ وَالْخَوَاطِرَ وَالْآمَالَ الَّتِي تَمُرُّ فِي مُخَيِّلَتِي.

I smell the earth where I used to trace the thoughts, reflections, and hopes that crossed my mind.

عُدْتُ وَلِسَانِي يَلْهَجُ لَكَ بِدَعَوَاتٍ صَالِحَاتٍ خِتَامُهَا (حَمْدًا لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، وَشُكْرًا لَهُ عَلَى آلَائِهِ).

I returned with my tongue whispering righteous prayers for you, ending with: "Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and thanks to Him for His blessings."

وَكَيْفَ لَا أَدْعُو لَكَ يَا وَطَنِي، وَأَنْتَ مَهْبِطُ الْوَحْيِ وَمَهْدُ الطُّفُولَةِ.

How could I not pray for you, my homeland, when you are the place of revelation and the cradle of my childhood?
