٢. أَسْتَمِعُ لِلْأَبْيَاتِ الْآتِيَةِ؛ لِأُحَاكِيَهَا إِلْقَاءً. إِلَى شَبَابِ بِلَادِي لِلْأَمِيرِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْفَيْصَلِ مَرْحَى فَقَدْ وَضَحَ الصَّوَابُ وَهَفَا إِلَى الْمَجْدِ الشَّبَابُ عَجْلَانُ يَنْتَهِبُ الْخُطَى هَيْمَانُ يَسْتَدْنِي السَّحَابَ وَرَنَا إِلَى مُسْتَقْبَلٍ يَرْقَى لَهُ مَتْنُ الصِّعَابِ الْمَجْدُ يُبْنَى بِالْعُلُوِّ مَ تَهْزُّ عَالَمَنَا الْعُجَابَ وَالْعِلْمُ رَايَةُ كُلِّ شَغِفٍ بِ نَاهِضٍ سَامِي الرِّغَابِ ٣. أَقْتَرِحُ عُنْوَانًا آخَرَ لِلْأَبْيَاتِ. مَلْحُوظَاتِي (دِيوَانُ وَحْيِ الْحِرْمَانِ، لِلْأَمِيرِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْفَيْصَلِ، دَارُ الْمَعَارِفِ، بَيْرُوتَ، ص ٥٢)

To the Youth of My Country, by Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal: Bravo, for the path is now clear, and the youth yearn for glory. Hasty, they seize their strides; passionate, they reach for the clouds. They gaze toward a future where the back of every difficulty is climbed. Glory is built upon loftiness, shaking our wondrous world, and knowledge is the banner of every passion, for a rising soul with noble aspirations.
