كَم مِن طَالِبٍ مَا لَمَسَتْ يَدُهُ المِعْوَلَ أَو المِنْجَلَ، وَلَا هِيَ تَسْتَطِيعُ أَن تَدُقَّ مِسْمَارًا فِي حَائِطٍ، أَو أَن تُدْخِلَ خَيْطًا فِي ثَقْبِ إِبْرَةٍ! وَكَم مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَقْضُونَ أَعْمَارَهُمْ فِي هَذَا الزَّمَانِ يُؤْثِرُونَ الرَّاحَةَ، وَأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ تَكَادُ لَا تَلْمِسُ التُّرَابَ، وَأَيُّ نَكْهَةٍ لِحَيَاةٍ لَا إِنْتَاجَ فِيهَا؟ إِنَّهَا وَالمَوْتَ سِيَّانِ.

How many students have never touched a pickaxe or a sickle, and cannot even hammer a nail into a wall or thread a needle!
وَكَم مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَقْضُونَ أَعْمَارَهُمْ فِي هَذَا الزَّمَانِ يُؤْثِرُونَ الرَّاحَةَ، وَأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ تَكَادُ لَا تَلْمِسُ التُّرَابَ، وَأَيُّ نَكْهَةٍ لِحَيَاةٍ لَا إِنْتَاجَ فِيهَا؟
How many people today spend their lives choosing comfort, their hands and feet barely touching the soil? What flavor is there in a life that produces nothing?
إِنَّهَا وَالمَوْتَ سِيَّانِ.
Such a life is no different from death.
