وَلَكِنْ مَا حَزَّ فِي نَفْسِي هُوَ سَلْبِيَّةُ بَعْضِ الْمَوْجُودِينَ مِنَ الزَّبَائِنِ تُجَاهَ هَذَا الْمَوْقِفِ

What pained me, however, was the indifference of some of the customers present toward the situation.

حَيْثُ كَانُوا مُجَرَّدَ مُتَفَرِّجِينَ دُونَ أَنْ تُحَرِّكَ أَيًّا مِنْهُمْ مُرُوءَتُهُ أَوْ شَهَامَتُهُ.

They were mere spectators; not one of them felt moved by a sense of decency or honor.

أَضَعُ دَائِرَةً حَوْلَ حَرْفِ الْوَاوِ الْمُتَّصِلِ بِالْكَلِمَةِ وَالْمُنْفَصِلِ عَنْهَا فِي الْمَقْطَعِ السَّابِقِ
