فِي هَذِهِ الْوَحْدَةِ، عَزِيزِي الطَّالِبُ، سَتَتَعَرَّفُ فِي هَذِهِ الْوَحْدَةِ بَعْضَ الْمَفَاهِيمِ وَالْمَوْضُوعَاتِ الْأَسَاسِيَّةِ ضِمْنَ مِحْوَرِ الْقَضَايَا الْأَدَبِيَّةِ: (مَاهِيَّةُ الْأَدَبِ، أَهَمِّيَّتُهُ، وَظَائِفُهُ)،

In this unit, dear student, you will learn about some of the basic concepts and topics within the theme of literary issues: (the essence of literature, its importance, and its functions).

وَسَتَدْرُسُ النَّصَّ الشِّعْرِيَّ "مَدْرَسَةُ الْحَيَاةِ" لِلشَّاعِرِ الْيَمَنِيِّ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرَدُونِيِّ الَّذِي يَعْرِضُ فِيهِ خُلَاصَةَ خِبْرَاتِهِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ عَبْرَ نَصٍّ رَائِعٍ تَجَلَّتْ فِيهِ أَبْرَزُ خَصَائِصِ شِعْرِ الْحِكْمَةِ الْحَدِيثِ،

You will study the poetic text "The School of Life" by the Yemeni poet Abdullah Al-Baradouni, in which he presents the summary of his life experiences through a magnificent text that reflects the most prominent characteristics of modern wisdom poetry.

وَسَتَدْرُسُ التَّشْبِيهَ الْمُفْرَدَ وَأَرْكَانَهُ، وَسَتَدْرُسُ التَّصْغِيرَ وَتَتَعَرَّفُ صَوْغَهُ وَأَوْزَانَهُ، فَضْلًا عَنْ تَعَرُّفِ كَيْفِيَّةِ كِتَابَةِ وَرَقَةٍ بَحْثِيَّةٍ وَفْقًا لِلْمَبَادِئِ الْعِلْمِيَّةِ.

You will study the simple simile and its components, and you will study the diminutive form and learn its derivation and patterns, in addition to learning how to write a research paper according to scientific principles.

وَسَتَتَعَزَّزُ لَدَيْكَ مِنْ خِلَالِ هَذِهِ الْوَحْدَةِ مَجْمُوعَةٌ مِنَ الْقِيَمِ أَبْرَزُهَا التَّأَمُّلُ وَالِاسْتِفَادَةُ مِنْ تَجَارِبِ الْحَيَاةِ.

Through this unit, a set of values will be reinforced in you, most notably reflection and learning from life experiences.
