التَّعْبِيرُ: نُكْمِلُ الْفَرَاغَ فِي الْقِصَّةِ بِمَا يُنَاسِبُهَا مِنَ التَّرَاكِيبِ الْآتِيَةِ: قُوتَ يَوْمِنَا، أَنْ يَخْرُجَ، هَذَا وَاجِبِي، لَمْ يَسْتَطِعِ النُّهُوضَ، لَا تُتْعِبْ نَفْسَكَ، وَأَنْتَ تَرْكُضُ، وَانْقَضَّ عَلَى. أَرَادَ أَسَدٌ كَبِيرُ السِّنِّ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ لِلْبَحْثِ عَنْ فَرِيسَةٍ يَأْكُلُهَا، لَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعِ النُّهُوضَ، رَآهُ شِبْلٌ لَهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: لَا تُتْعِبْ نَفْسَكَ يَا وَالِدِي. لَقَدْ تَعِبْتَ فِي زَمَانِكَ كَثِيرًا، وَأَنْتَ تَرْكُضُ وَرَاءَ الْغِزْلَانِ؛ لِتُؤَمِّنَ لَنَا قُوتَ يَوْمِنَا، حَانَ الْوَقْتُ لِتَسْتَرِيحَ، وَنَخْرُجَ نَحْنُ الْأَشْبَالُ لِإِحْضَارِ الْفَرِيسَةِ لَكَ، فَانْطَلَقَ الشَّبْلُ، وَانْقَضَّ عَلَى غَزَالٍ، وَأَحْضَرَهُ لِلْأَسَدِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: تَفَضَّلْ يَا وَالِدِي، هَذَا وَاجِبِي.

An elderly lion wanted to go out to hunt for food, but he could not get up. His cub saw him and said, "Do not tire yourself, Father."
لَقَدْ تَعِبْتَ فِي زَمَانِكَ كَثِيرًا، وَأَنْتَ تَرْكُضُ وَرَاءَ الْغِزْلَانِ؛ لِتُؤَمِّنَ لَنَا قُوتَ يَوْمِنَا، حَانَ الْوَقْتُ لِتَسْتَرِيحَ، وَنَخْرُجَ نَحْنُ الْأَشْبَالُ لِإِحْضَارِ الْفَرِيسَةِ لَكَ، فَانْطَلَقَ الشَّبْلُ، وَانْقَضَّ عَلَى غَزَالٍ، وَأَحْضَرَهُ لِلْأَسَدِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: تَفَضَّلْ يَا وَالِدِي، هَذَا وَاجِبِي.
"You have worked hard enough in your time, running after gazelles to secure our daily bread. It is time for you to rest while we cubs go out to bring you prey." The cub set off, pounced on a gazelle, and brought it to the lion, saying, "Here you go, Father; this is my duty."
