حِكَايَةُ صُورَةٍ. ذَهَبْتُ لِزِيَارَةِ جَدِّي، وَعِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ الْقَرْيَةِ شَاهَدْتُ صُورَةً كَبِيرَةً لِشَابٍّ يَبْتَسِمُ ابْتِسَامَةً جَمِيلَةً، وَتَأَمَّلْتُ الصُّورَةَ؛ فَشَعَرْتُ أَنَّ صُورَتَهُ تُحَدِّثُنِي. سَأَلْتُ جَدِّي بِدَهْشَةٍ: «مَنْ صَاحِبُ الصُّورَةِ يَا جَدِّي؟ وَمَا قِصَّتُهُ؟».

ذَهَبْتُ لِزِيَارَةِ جَدِّي، وَعِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ الْقَرْيَةِ شَاهَدْتُ صُورَةً كَبِيرَةً لِشَابٍّ يَبْتَسِمُ اِبْتِسَامَةً جَمِيلَةً، وَتَأَمَّلْتُ الصُّورَةَ؛ فَشَعَرْتُ أَنَّ صُورَتَهُ تُحَدِّثُنِي.
I went to visit my grandfather, and at the village entrance, I saw a large photograph of a young man with a beautiful smile. As I gazed at it, I felt as if the image were speaking to me.
سَأَلْتُ جَدِّي بِدَهْشَةٍ: «مَنْ صَاحِبُ الصُّورَةِ يَا جَدِّي؟ وَمَا قِصَّتُهُ؟».
I asked my grandfather in surprise, "Who is this, Grandfather? What is his story?"
