عُشٌّ جَمِيلٌ. طَارَ الْعُصْفُورُ الصَّغِيرُ هُنَا وَهُنَاكَ يَبْحَثُ عَنْ عِيدَانِ الْقَشِّ؛ لِيَبْنِيَ عُشَّهُ الصَّغِيرَ. أَمْسَكَ قَشَّةً بِمِنْقَارِهِ، وَوَضَعَهَا فَوْقَ غُصْنِ الشَّجَرَةِ، لَكِنَّهَا وَقَعَتْ، فَأَحْضَرَهَا مَرَّةً ثَانِيَةً، وَلَكِنَّهَا وَقَعَتْ أَيْضًا تَكَرَّرَ ذَلِكَ، وَكُلَّ مَرَّةٍ كَانَ يَحْمِلُ الْقَشَّةَ مِنْ جَدِيدٍ، وَيَضَعُهَا عَلَى الْغُصْنِ، وَيَقُولُ: لَنْ أَتَوَقَّفَ حَتَّى أَنْجَحَ.

طَارَ الْعُصْفُورُ الصَّغِيرُ هُنَا وَهُنَاكَ يَبْحَثُ عَنْ عِيدَانِ الْقَشِّ؛ لِيَبْنِيَ عُشَّهُ الصَّغِيرَ.
The little bird flew here and there, searching for bits of straw to build its small nest.
أَمْسَكَ قَشَّةً بِمِنْقَارِهِ، وَوَضَعَهَا فَوْقَ غُصْنِ الشَّجَرَةِ، لَكِنَّهَا وَقَعَتْ، فَأَحْضَرَهَا مَرَّةً ثَانِيَةً، وَلَكِنَّهَا وَقَعَتْ أَيْضًا.
It gripped a piece of straw in its beak and placed it on the tree branch, but it fell; it retrieved it again, but it fell once more.
