هِجْرَةُ الصَّحَابَةِ - إِسْلَامُ عُمَرَ (١) هِجْرَةُ الصَّحَابَةِ (١-١) مِنَ الْخُلُقِ الْفَاضِلِ: الْوَفَاءُ بِالْوَعْدِ - مَرْحَبًا بِكَ، يَا «رَشَادُ». - مَا أَعْجَبَ وَفَاءَكَ بِمَوْعِدِكَ! - لَمْ يَتَقَدَّمْ عَنْ مَوْعِدِهِ لَحْظَةٌ. - وَلَا تَأَخَّرَ! - لَسْتُ بِبِدْعٍ فِي هَذَا، يَا صَدِيقَيَّ؛ فَقَدْ أَجْمَعَتْ أَدْيَانُ الْعَالَمِ عَامَّةً، وَدِينُنَا خَاصَّةً، عَلَى التَّرْغِيبِ فِي الْفَضَائِلِ، وَجَعَلَتْ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْفَضَائِلِ صِدْقَ الْوَعْدِ، وَالْوَفَاءَ بِالْعَهْدِ. - صَدَقْتَ يَا «رَشَادُ»، فَإِنَّ مَنْ لَا وَفَاءَ لَهُ لَا دِينَ لَهُ. (٢-١) آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثُ - أَلَمْ يَقُلِ الرَّسُولُ: «آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثُ: - إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ. - وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ. - وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَانَ.» - فَكَيْفَ نَتَهَاوَنُ فِي ضَبْطِ مَوْعِدِنَا، وَقَدْ أَوْجَبَهُ دِينُنَا عَلَيْنَا أَوَّلَ مَا أَوْجَبَ؟

- He did not arrive a moment before his scheduled time.

- لَسْتُ بِبِدْعٍ فِي هَذَا، يَا صَدِيقَيَّ
- I am not unique in this, my friends.
- فَقَدْ أَجْمَعَتْ أَدْيَانُ الْعَالَمِ عَامَّةً، وَدِينُنَا خَاصَّةً، عَلَى التَّرْغِيبِ فِي الْفَضَائِلِ
- The world's religions in general, and our own in particular, all encourage virtue.
- وَجَعَلَتْ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْفَضَائِلِ صِدْقَ الْوَعْدِ، وَالْوَفَاءَ بِالْعَهْدِ.
- They place honesty in promises and loyalty to one's word above all other virtues.
- صَدَقْتَ يَا رَشَادُ، فَإِنَّ مَنْ لَا وَفَاءَ لَهُ لَا دِينَ لَهُ.
- You are right, Rashad; those who lack loyalty lack faith.
- آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثُ
- There are three signs of a hypocrite.
- أَلَمْ يَقُلِ الرَّسُولُ: آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثُ: إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ. وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ. وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَانَ.
- Did the Messenger not say: 'The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he promises, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays'?
- فَكَيْفَ نَتَهَاوَنُ فِي ضَبْطِ مَوْعِدِنَا، وَقَدْ أَوْجَبَهُ دِينُنَا عَلَيْنَا أَوَّلَ مَا أَوْجَبَ؟
- How can we be so negligent about our appointments when our religion made keeping them a fundamental duty?
