And Al-Kisa'i claimed that Abu Ziyad recited to him: O love of Layla, do not fade and increase, and grow like the dye grows on the hand.
والرواية المشهورة: وانم كما ينمي
And the famous narration is: and grow as it grows.

And 'yanmu ila al-hasab' (it grows towards nobility) is a dialectal variant of 'yanmi'.
