And it is the language of the common people.
And the daughters of 'ya' when pluralized with 'ta' do not move the position of the 'ayn' with a damma; thus it is in Al-Sihah.
They disliked pluralizing with 'ta' and thus moved the 'ayn' with a damma, causing this 'ya' to come after a damma. When this became burdensome for them, they abandoned it and were satisfied with the majority's structure, and those who lightened it said: 'kulliyat'.
And it (the kidney) is from the bow: what is between the 'abhar' and the liver.
And they are two kidneys; as in Al-Sihah.
Or it is below the liver; and it was said: it is its liver; and it was said: the knot of its strap; or its kidney is the measure of three spans from its handle.
The two kidneys of the bow are the fixed part holding its strap; all of that is in Al-Muhkam.
Their two kidneys are to the right and left of the liver; and this is metaphorical.
And from the metaphor of the metaphor: the kidney of the cloud is its lower part.
It is said: its kidney burst; and a cloud with weak lower parts; this was transmitted by Al-Jawhari, Al-Azhari, and Al-Zamakhshari.
The high ground flows, its clouds weak in their lower parts, the peaks are covered.
And from metaphor: the kidney of the waterskin and the large waterskin is a patch.
A round piece of skin sewn onto it with the leather beneath the loop.
And the kidney is a patch that forms the loop of the small waterskin and the large waterskin, and its plural is 'kila'.
What is it with your eyes that tears flow from them, as if they were from the worn-out patches of a herd?
And two worn-out waterskins, both with weak patches.
And his kidney, like 'ramaytuhu' (I threw it), 'kaliya', like 'radiya' (he was pleased).
And he is 'makli', and 'iktala': I injured his kidney and caused him pain; Al-Jawhari limited himself to 'iktala'.
'Kaliya al-rajul' and 'iktala': he felt pain for that; and he recited for Al-Ajjaj: They have from their youth a sound, when he felt pain and the one with the injured kidney charged forward.
And it is narrated: 'kili'. And Al-Jawhari recited it thus, meaning with the last narration, and he brought it as evidence for his statement: 'kiliytahu' (his kidney), I hit his kidney.
He says it when the bull stabs the dog in its kidney and the dog, the 'makli' whose kidney was injured, falls.
It appears from this that the author's statement 'ka-radiya' is not appropriate, but rather it is 'kaliya' and 'iktala' from the root 'rama' (to throw), so according to this it is transitive and intransitive, so ponder.
Sheep with red kidneys: meaning emaciated.
So-and-so came with his sheep with red kidneys, meaning emaciated.
When the roasted meat has many offerings, and from the kidneys come its results.
He means: his offerings are many due to drought, finding nothing to graze on; and from the kidneys are its results, meaning they fell from emaciation, so their owner cuts open their bellies from their sides in the places of their kidneys and extracts their young from them.
They are two places, one on the road of the pilgrims from Basra between Athrah and Tukhfah, and the second in the Hijaz, a valley between the two holy cities.

Do you know on the morning your captives are driven, on the slope between Kuliya and Tihal?

The two kidneys: what is to the right and left of the arrow's tip; transmitted by Al-Jawhari and Ibn Al-Sikkit.
So-and-so does not differentiate between the two kidneys of the arrow and the two kidneys of the bow.

'Iktalahu': he injured his kidney; from Al-Zamakhshari, so it is intransitive and transitive.
And 'kuli al-rajul', like 'a'anni': he was afflicted with kidney pain, from Ibn Al-Qatta'.
Until when it drank upon it and split open, a flowing cloud, the kidney of a waterskin.
It is possible that it is a plural of 'kilya' as 'kili', similar to how 'hilya' becomes 'hili' in the saying of some due to the similarity of the structures, and it is possible that it is its plural based on the assumption of omitting the 'ha', like 'burd' and 'burud'.
And 'Kuliya', with damma: a place in the lands of Tamim, from Nasr.
