And Ibn Al-A'rabi narrated: Kafak bi-fulan, and kafik bihi, and kafak (with kasra and qasr), and kafak (with damma and qasr).

He said: And it is not dualized, nor pluralized, nor feminized.

It is said of land when rain falls upon it after rain: it was struck by rain upon rain.

وبيع الكفاية عند الفقهاء هو أن يكون لي على رجل خمسة دراهم وأشتري منك شيئا بخمسة، فأقول: خذها منه

And the sale of sufficiency among the jurists is that I owe a man five dirhams, and I buy something from you for five, and I say: Take it from him.

المكافاة: المساواة بين الشيئين.
