The Cow and Al-Imran will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they were two clouds or two shades.

قَدْ بِتُّ سَامِرَهَا وَغَايَةُ تَاجِرٍ وَافَيْتُ إِذْ رُفِعَتْ وَعَزَّ مَدَامُهَا

I spent the night conversing with its company, and the banner of a merchant I reached when it was raised, and its wine was precious.

وَكَذَلِكَ رَبَّيْتُهَا إِذَا نَصَبْتَ الرَّايَةَ.

And likewise I raised it if you erect the banner.

وَذُو حَوْمَلٍ أَغْيَا عَلَيْهِ وَأُغَيِّمَا

And the owner of a herd of camels provided shade for him and was shaded.

وَغَيَّى لِلْقَوْمِ: نَصَبَ لَهُمْ غَايَةً، أَوْ عَمِلَهَا لَهُمْ.

And he 'ghayyā' for the people: he set up a goal for them, or made it for them.

وَأَغْيَاهَا: نَصَبَهَا.

And he 'aghyāhā': he set it up.

وَالْغَيَايَةُ: السَّحَابَةُ المُنْفَرِدَةُ، أَوْ الوَاقِعَةُ.

وَرَجُلٌ غَيَّاءٌ: ثَقِيلُ الرُّوحِ كَأَنَّهُ ظِلٌّ مُظْلِمٌ مُتَكَاثِفٌ لَا إِشْرَاقَ فِيهِ.

And a man 'ghayyā': heavy-spirited, as if he were a dark, dense shadow without brightness.

وَأَغْيَا الرَّجُلُ: بَلَغَ الغَايَةَ فِي الشَّرَفِ، وَالأَمْرِ.

وَأَغْيَا الفَرَسُ فِي سِبَاقِهِ، كَذَلِكَ؛ عَنِ ابْنِ القَطَّاعِ.

And the horse ran fast in its race, likewise; from Ibn al-Qatta'.

وَقَوْلُهُمْ: المُغَيَّا، كَمُعَظَّمٍ، لِانْتِهَاءِ الغَايَةِ، هَكَذَا يَقُولُهُ الفُقَهَاءُ وَالأُصُولِيُّونَ، وَهِيَ لُغَةٌ مُوَلَّدَةٌ.
