Parallel reading

And he is (the name of the grandfather's grandfather) of Abu Bakr (Muhammad bin Mahmud bin Ibrahim bin Naba) bin Zaza bin Mimwah (Al-Farqani).
And so it is in the manuscripts, and the correct reading is Al-Farqani with two 'f's; as in Al-Tabsir; from Abd al-Wahhab bin Minda and Abu al-Khayr bin Rara, and from him Abd al-Azim al-Sharabi; said Al-Dhahabi.
And the father of Abu al-Khayr bin Zaza, the traditionists.
This is a mistake, and the correct reading is that the father of Abu al-Khayr is with two unpointed letters (meaning not with 'zayn), and this has preceded him. The author was misled by the context of Al-Dhahabi's statement which we presented earlier, because he mentioned Abu al-Khayr among his teachers, so the author thought he was with two 'zayn's; ponder this and be fair.
