The حسى is accumulated sand with a solid mountain beneath it. When it rains, the sand absorbs the rainwater. When it reaches the mountain below, it holds the water, and the sand prevents the sun's heat from drying it out. When the heat intensifies, the surface of the sand recedes from the water, and it springs forth cold and sweet, gushing forth.

واحتسى حسى: احتفره
