اشترطوا على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن لا يجبوا، فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم لا خير في دين لا ركوع فيه

They stipulated to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, that they would not perform 'yujbū', so the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'There is no good in a religion that has no bowing.'

والاجتباء: افتعال من الجباية وهو استخراج المال من مظانها

And al-ijtibāʾ: is an 'ifti'āl' from al-jibāyah, which is the extraction of money from its sources.

قالوا لولا اجتبيتها، أي هلا افتعلتها من قبل نفسك
