And Allah made him dull of speech and made him dull of speech: He made him tongue-tied, so he is fahā, fahīh, and fahfah: the last is according to Ibn Durayd; meaning slow of tongue and unable to articulate his need.
يقال: سفيه فهيه
It is said: a foolish person who is slow of tongue.
وهو! فهفاه على المال: أي حسن القيام به
And he is fahfāh regarding wealth: meaning good at managing it.
فه عن الشيء يفه فها: نسيه
He forgot about the thing, he forgets, he forgot: he forgot it.
وأفهه غيره: أنساه
And he made someone else forget: he caused him to forget.
يقال: خرجت لحاجة فأفهني عنها فلان: أي أنسانيها
It is said: I went out for a need and so-and-so made me forget it: meaning he caused me to forget it.
والفهة: المرة من الفهاهة
And al-fihah: the instance of al-fahāhah.

And fahfaha: he fell from a high rank to a low one; according to Ibn Al-Arabi.
