Ibn Sidah said: Its correctness is al-sabāh, the loss of mind, or the exuberance of one who is like mad.
وقال اللحياني: رجل مسبه العقل ومسمه العقل أي ذاهبه
And Al-Lihyānī said: A man masbūh al-'aql and masammah al-'aql, meaning his mind is gone.
وسباهي العقل: ضعيفه
