And it was said: Al-sunnah is drowsiness that begins in the head, and when it reaches the heart, it is sleep.
لا تأخذه سنة ولا نوم
Slumber does not overtake Him, nor does sleep.
تأويله: لا يغفل عن تدبير أمر الخلق، تعالى وتقدس.
Its interpretation: He is not heedless of managing the affairs of creation, exalted and sanctified is He.
وسن الرجل، كفرح، وسنا
The man dozed, like faraha, with wasanan.
