ربنا إني أسكنت من ذريتي بواد غير ذي زرع — Our Lord, I have settled a portion of my offspring in an uncultivable valley.

ما يفتح الله للناس من رحمة فلا ممسك لها — Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy, none can withhold it.

ما ننسخ من آية — Whatever We abrogate of a verse.

مهما تأتنا به من آية — Whatever sign you bring us.

يحلون فيها من أساور من ذهب — They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold.

فاجتنبوا الرجس من الأوثان — So avoid the impurity of idols.

وقال رجل مؤمن من آل فرعون — And a believing man from among the people of Pharaoh said.

وعد الله الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات منهم مغفرة وأجرا عظيما — Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.

الذين استجابوا لله والرسول من بعد ما أصابهم القرح للذين أحسنوا منهم واتقوا أجر عظيم — Those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after suffering injury. For those who did good among them and feared Allah is a great reward.

ولئن لم ينتهوا عما يقولون ليمسن الذين كفروا منهم عذاب أليم — And if they do not desist from what they say, there will surely afflict those who disbelieve among them a painful punishment.

فإن طبن لكم عن شيء منه نفسا فكلوه — And if they give up to you any part of it, then consume it.

فما منكم من أحد عنه حاجزين — Then there will be no one among you to prevent it.

وينزل من السماء من جبال فيها من برد — And He sends down from the sky, mountains wherein is hail.

مما خطايئاتهم أغرقوا — Because of their transgressions they were drowned.

أرضيتم بالحياة الدنيا من الآخرة — Do you accept the worldly life in exchange for the Hereafter?

ولو نشاء لجعلنا منكم ملائكة — And if We willed, We could have made from among you angels.

لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا — Their wealth and their children will never benefit them against Allah at all.

لا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد — Wealth will not avail any possessor of wealth from you against Me.

رأيته من ذلك الموضع — I saw him from that place.

ما جاءني من رجل — No man came to me.

ويحه من رجل — Woe to him, what a man!

لي ملؤه من عسل — It is full of honey for me.

ما جاءني من أحد — No one came to me.

وما تسقط من ورقة إلا يعلمها — Not a leaf falls but He knows it.

ما ترى في خلق الرحمن من تفاوت — You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any defect.

فارجع البصر هل ترى من فطور — Then return [your] vision [to the sky]; return your vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is perplexed.

ومهما يكن عند امرىء من خليقة — And whatever disposition a person may have.

وترى الملائكة حافين من حول العرش — And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne.

ما جعل الله لرجل من قلبين في جوفه — Allah has not made for any man two hearts in his interior.

فكلوا مما أمسكن عليكم — So eat of what they have caught for you.

ما فرطنا في الكتاب من شيء — We have not neglected in the Book anything.

ولقد جاءك من نبإ المرسلين — And there has already come to you from the news of the messengers.

يغفر لكم من ذنوبكم — He will forgive you of your sins.

ونكفر عنكم سيئاتكم — And We will remove from you your evil deeds.

إن من أشد الناس عذابا يوم القيامة المصورون — Indeed, the most severely punished of people on the Day of Resurrection will be the image-makers.

والله يعلم المفسد من المصلح — And Allah knows the corrupter and the rectifier.

حتى يميز الخبيث من الطيب — Until He distinguishes the evil from the good.

ينظرون إليك من طرف خفي — They look at you with a glance of [disguised] eyes.

فويل للقاسية قلوبهم من ذكر الله — So woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah.

لقد كنت في غفلة من هذا — You were certainly in a state of heedlessness of this.

أروني ماذا خلقوا من الأرض — Show me what they have created of the earth.

إذا نودي للصلاة من يوم الجمعة — When the call is made for the prayer on Friday.

لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا — Their wealth and their children will never benefit them against Allah at all.

ونصرناه من القوم — And We supported him from the people.

وما يعزب عن ربك من مثقال ذرة — And not absent from your Lord is an atom's weight [or anything] on the earth or within it.

والله لولا حنف في رجلهما كان من فتيانكم من مثله — By God, if there were no slight limp in their legs, there would be among your youths one like him.

ما رأيته من سنة — I have not seen him for a year.

لمن الديار بقنة الحجر أقوين من حجج ومن دهر؟ — Whose are the dwellings at Qunnah al-Hajr, have they been rained upon by years and by time?

أمن آل ليلى عرفت الديارا — From the family of Layla, did you recognize the dwellings?

من ربي فعلت — By my Lord, I did it.

فابتداء الاستعاذة من الشيطان مع قطع النظر عن الانتهاء

The beginning of seeking refuge is from Satan, disregarding the end.
