If one obtains the hardened part of it, sealed on both sides and containing two intersecting lines, it is better than emerald, and jinn do not enter a house where it is placed.
وهو (حار ملطف مدر قاطع نزف الدم نافع من النقرس والصرع ولو تعليقا، وإن بخر وعلق في خرقة صفراء ولم تمسه يد حائض سهل الولادة، وأورث الهيبة، وإن جعل تحت وسادة متابغضين والقمر متصل بالزهرة من تثليث وقعت بينهما ألفة لا تزول أبدا.
It is hot, emollient, diuretic, stops bleeding, beneficial for gout and epilepsy, even if worn as an amulet. If it is fumigated and hung in a yellow cloth and not touched by a menstruating woman, it eases childbirth, bestows dignity. If placed under the pillow of two people who hate each other, and the moon is connected to Venus by a trine, affection will arise between them that never fades.
