وعرض على البقليني وابن الملقن، وأجاز له، ورافق الحافظ ابن حجر في سفره إلى اليمن، واجتمع معه بالمصنف في زبيد، ووالده أجاز له، التقى السبكي وجده، أجازه أبو حيان، أخذ عن الحافظ السخاوي وذكره في تاريخه، مات سنة 855.

And he presented to Al-Baqillini and Ibn Al-Mulaqqin, and they granted him permission. He accompanied Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar on his journey to Yemen, and met with the author in Zabid. His father also granted him permission. He met Al-Subki and his grandfather. Abu Hayyan granted him permission. He took from Al-Hafiz Al-Sakhawi and he mentioned him in his history. He died in the year 855.

وأبو اليمن محمد بن قاسم بن عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عبد القادر الشيشيني المحلي، ولد سنة 783، ومات بمصر سنة 853، وقد حدث، رحمه الله تعالى.
