And Ibn Makula erred regarding him, mentioning him under al-As'adi.
وقال: لا أدري إلى أي شيء ينسب؛
And he (Ibn Makula) said: 'I do not know to what he is attributed.'
وتعقبه ابن نقطة وذكر أنه وقف على مجلد فيه خمس نسخ من معجم الطبراني
And Ibn Nuqta followed up on him (Ibn Makula) and mentioned that he found a volume containing five copies of Al-Tabarani's Mu'jam.
منها بخط ابن الحاجنة وابن الأنماطي
Among them were copies in the handwriting of Ibn al-Hajina and Ibn al-Anmati.
