يوم أرونان: (سهل) ناعم فهو (ضد) ؛

Yawm arūnān: (easy), smooth, so it is (the opposite);

هذا ويوم لنا قصير جم ملاهيه أرونانوكان أبو الهيثم ينكر أن يكون الأرونان في غير معنى الغم والشدة وأنكر البيت الذي احتج به شمر.

And this is a day for us, short, its amusements abundant, easy. Abu Al-Haytham used to deny that al-arunān could mean anything other than distress and severity, and he denied the verse that Shamir used as proof.

وليلة أرونانة: شديدة صعبة؛

And laylah arūnānah: severe, difficult;

وكذا أرونانية: شديدة الحر والغم.
