وإن الموت أدنى من خيال ودون العيش تهوادا ذنينا أي لم يرفق بنفسه.
And death is closer than a phantom, and before living, he walked weakly, meaning he did not spare himself.
وذناذن الثوب): أسافله، مثل (ذلاذله) ؛ وقيل: نونها بدل من لامها، الواحد ذنذن وذلذل؛ عن أبي عمر و.
And dhanādhina of the garment: its lower parts, like dhilādhilih; and it was said: its nūn is a substitute for its lām, singular dhanadhan and dhilidhil; from Abu Amr.

And he is yudhānuhu for a need he asks of him; meaning he asks and requests it from him; as in Al-Sihah.

توائل من مصك أنصبتهحوالب أسهريه بالذنين
It escapes from your grasp when you tire it, with veins flowing with discharge.
والحوالب: عروق يسيل منها المني، والأسهران: عرقان يجري فيهما ماء الفحل.
And Al-Hawālib: veins from which semen flows, and Al-As'harān: two veins in which the stallion's fluid runs.
وتوائل: أي تنجو. وأورده الجوهري مستشهدا به على الذنين المخاط يسيل من الأنف.
And Tuwā'il: meaning escapes. And Al-Jawharī cited it as evidence for al-dhanīn meaning mucus flowing from the nose.
والذنانة، كثمامة: بقية العدة أو الدين.
And al-dhanānah, like thamāmah: the remainder of a count or debt.
والذنيناء، بالضم ممدودا: ما يخرج من الطعام فيرمى به؛ عن أبي حنيفة.
