And it is: a town two and a half farsakhs from Bukhara, from which was the jurist Abu Muhammad Hakim bin Muhammad, son of Ali bin Al-Husayn bin Ahmad bin Hakim (Al-Dhaymuni).
إمام أصحاب الشافعي، رضي الله تعالى عنه، تفقه بمرو على ابن عبد اللها الحضرمي، ودرس الكلام على أبي إسحق الأسفرايني، وتوفي ببخارى سنة 316، رحمه اللها تعالى؛ وعنه أبو كامل البصري وغيره.
The imam of the companions of Al-Shafi'i, may God Almighty be pleased with him. He studied jurisprudence in Merv under Ibn 'Abd Allah Al-Hadrami, and studied theology under Abu Ishaq Al-Isfarayini, and he died in Bukhara in the year 316, may God Almighty have mercy on him. Abu Kamil Al-Basri and others narrated from him.
ومنها أيضا أبو القاسم عبد العزيز بن أحمد بن محمد الذيموني الشافعي، رحمه اللها تعالى، عن أبي عمر وومحمد بن محمد بن جابر، وعنه أبو محمد النخشبي.
Also from there was Abu Al-Qasim 'Abd Al-'Aziz bin Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Dhaymuni Al-Shafi'i, may God Almighty have mercy on him, who narrated from Abu 'Umar and Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Jabir, and Abu Muhammad Al-Nakhshabi narrated from him.
