وجوز أنه لقب بالمفازة وحكاه قولا.
And it is considered that he was nicknamed after the fertile area, and this is narrated as one opinion.
ووجدان، كشداد، بن جديلة بطن (من ربيعة) بن نزار.
And Wajdan, like Shaddad, bin Jadilah is a branch (of Rabi'ah) bin Nizar.
قال ابن الكلبي: دخلوا في بني زهير بن جشم وبني شيبان.
Ibn Al-Kalbi said: They entered into the tribes of Banu Zuhayr bin Jusham and Banu Shayban.
قال الرشاطي: ولده عامر وهو باقم بن جدان.
Al-Rashati said: His offspring is 'Amir, who is Baqim bin Jadan.
