وَالثَّنَنُ: جَمْعُ الثَّنَةِ، وَهِيَ شُعَيْرَاتٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي مُؤَخِّرِ رِسْغِ الدَّابَّةِ

لَهَا ثَنَنٌ كَخَوَافِي الْعُقَابِ سُودٌ يُفِيضْنَ إِذَا تَزَبْأَرِفِينَ
