Ibn Al-A'rabi said: I said to an Arab: When is the journey? He said: They mentioned Saturday, meaning they remembered it, and its derivation is from them moving their lips with it.
واللُّغْمَاءُ: شَاةٌ ابْيَضَّ وَجْهُهَا؛ كأنَّهُ ابْيَضَّ مَوْضِعُ لُغَامِهَا.
And 'al-lughma'' is a sheep whose face is white; as if the place of its foam is white.
واللُّغْمُ، مُحَرَّكَةً: الطِّيبُ القَلِيلُ.
And 'al-lughm', vocalized with fatha: a small amount of perfume.
واللُّغْمُ: قَصَبَةُ اللِّسَانِ وعُرُوقُهُ.
