And among the later scholars: Al-Hasan bin Ahmad bin Salih Al-Yusufi Al-Jamal! Al-Haimi, one of the capable men of the Mutawakkil's state and one of its most brilliant scribes, he had an acquaintance with hadith and was bold in all other arts. He died in the town of Shabam in the year one hundred and seventy-one, and Ibn Abi Al-Rijal translated him in his history.

والقاضي العلامة عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن نهش الحيمي، أخذ بمكة عن محمد بن علي بن علان، وعنه القاضي العلامة محمد بن إبراهيم السحولي، توفي بصنعاء سنة مائة وست وستين.
And the learned judge Abdur Rahman bin Muhammad bin Nahsh Al-Haimi, he took knowledge in Mecca from Muhammad bin Ali bin Allan, and from him the learned judge Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Suhuli. He died in Sana'a in the year one hundred and sixty-six.
وممن تولى قضاءها العلامة عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن صلاح، توفي في نيف وستين بعد الألف.
And among those who held its judgeship was the learned Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah bin Salah, who died in the sixties after the thousand.
