الحليم في صفات الله تعالى: الذي لا يستخفه عصيان العصاة ولا يستفزه الغضب عليهم
The Clement, among the attributes of God Almighty: He whom the disobedience of sinners does not move, nor does anger provoke Him against them.
من تحلم ما لم يحلم كلف أن يعقد بين شعيرتين
Whoever pretends to have a dream when he has not had one will be tasked with tying between two barley grains.
تبدلت بعد الخيزران جريدة ... وبعد ثياب الخز أحلام نائم

ونحن غداة العين يوم فطيمة ... منعنا بني شيبان شرب محلم
And we, on the morning of the spring on the day of Fatiimah... prevented Banu Shayban from drinking from Mahlam.
وماؤها حار في منبعه وإذا برد فهو ماء عذب
Its water is hot at its source, and when it cools, it is fresh water.
إذا زعزعتها الريح كادت تميلها
When the wind shakes it, it almost makes it lean.
