And 'illiyyah, with two kasras, and the lam and ya are doubled, and the 'ayn is dammah, meaning with a kasra on the doubled lam: the upper room, plural: 'alālī.

إذا عرض عليك الطعام وأنت مستغن عنه، بمعنى قول العامة: عرض سابري: أي لم يبالغ لأن العالة لا يعرض عليها الشرب عرضا مبالغة فيه، كالعرض على الناهلة، نقله الجوهري.
If food is offered to you while you are in no need of it, meaning the common saying: 'Arḍ sābirī: meaning not exaggerated, because the 'ālah (burdened person) is not offered a drink with exaggeration, like offering to the thirsty, as narrated by Al-Jawhari.
وأعللت الإبل إذا أصدرتها قبل ربها، كذا نص الصحاح، وروى أبو عبيد عن الأصمعي: أعللت الإبل فهي عالة: إذا أصدرتها ولم تروها، أو هي بالغين ونسبه الجوهري إلى بعض أئمة الاشتقاق، قال: وكأنه من الغلة، وهو العطش، وقال: والأول هو المسموع، وروى الأزهري عن نصير الرازي قال: صدرت الإبل غالة وغوال، وقد أغللتها، من الغلة والغليل، وهو حرارة العطش، وأما أعللت الإبل، وعللتها، فهما ضدا أغللتها لأنه معناهما أن تسقيها الشربة الثانية ثم تصدرها رواء، وإذا علت فقد رويت.
And 'a'lalat the camels if you led them away before their thirst was quenched, thus stated in Al-Ṣiḥāḥ. Abu 'Ubayd narrated from Al-Aṣma'ī: 'a'lalat the camels and they are 'ālah: if you led them away without watering them, or they are with ghayn, and Al-Jawhari attributed it to some etymologists, saying: it might be from ghallah, which is thirst. He said: and the first is what is heard. Al-Azhari narrated from Naṣīr Al-Rāzī: the camels were led away ghālah and ghawāl, and I 'aghlaltuhā, from ghallah and ghalīl, which is the heat of thirst. As for 'a'lalat the camels, and 'allaltuhā, they are the opposite of 'aghlaltuhā because their meaning is to give them a second drink then lead them away quenched, and if they 'allat, they have been watered.
واعتله اعتلالا: اعتاقه عن أمر. أو اعتله: إذا تجنى عليه.
And 'atalahu 'itilālan: to hinder him from an affair. Or 'atalahu: if one acts unjustly towards him.
وفي حديث علي رضي الله تعالى عنه: من جزيل عطائك المعلول، يريد أن عطاء الله مضاعف يعل به عباده مرة بعد أخرى.
And in the narration of Ali, may God be pleased with him: from your abundant gifts, the ma'lūl, meaning God's gift is doubled, with which He gives His servants a second time after another.
والعلل محركة من الطعام: ما أكل منه، عن كراع.
And al-'alal, with harakat, from food: what is eaten from it, according to Kurā'.

And al-'ulūl, like ṣabūr: what the sick person is given to eat of light food, and the plural is 'ulal, with two dammahs.
وتعاللت نفسي، وتلومتها بمعنى.
And ta'ālaltu nafsī, and I blamed myself, meaning the same.
وتعاللت الناقة: إذا استخرجت ما عندها من السير، قال: وقد تعاللت ذميل العنس بالسوط في ديمومة كالترس
And ta'ālaltu the she-camel: if she exerted what she had of speed. He said: And the swift she-camel exerted herself with the whip in a vast plain like a shield.
والمعلل، كمحدث: الذي يعلل مترشفه بالريق، وبه فسر أيضا قول امرئ القيس: ... من جناك المعلل فيمن رواه بالكسر.
And al-mu'allil, like muḥaddith: one whose sip is prolonged with saliva, and with this was also interpreted the saying of Imru' al-Qays: ... from your gift, the mu'allil, for whoever narrated it with kasra.
وقال ابن الأعرابي: المعلل: المعين بالبر بعد البر.
And Ibn Al-A'rābī said: Al-mu'allil: one who is aided with goodness after goodness.
والعل: الذي لا خير عنده، قال الشنفرى: (ولست! بعل شره دون خيره ألف إذا ما رعته اهتاج أعزل)
And al-'all: one who has no goodness. Al-Shanfara said: (And you are not of the worst, his evil is without his good, a thousand if you provoke him, he becomes agitated, unarmed).
واليعلول: الأفيل من الإبل، كما في العباب.
And al-ya'lūl: a fading camel, as in Al-'Abbāb.
وقال أبو السمح الطائي: اليعاليل: الجبال المرتفعة، نقله أبو العباس الأحول في شرح الكعبية، زاد السهيلي: ينحدر الماء من أعلاها.
And Abu Al-Samḥ Al-Ṭā'ī said: Al-ya'ālīl: high mountains, narrated by Abu Al-'Abbās Al-Aḥwal in his explanation of Al-Ka'biyyah, Al-Suhaylī added: water descends from their tops.
وقال أبو عمرو: اليعاليل: التي شربت مرة بعد أخرى، لا واحد لها، وقال غيره: هي التي تهمي مرة بعد مرة، واحدها يعلول، وهو يفعول، وقيل: اليعاليل: المفرطة في البياض.
And Abu 'Amr said: Al-ya'ālīl: those that drank once after another, without a singular, and others said: they are those that flow once after another, their singular is ya'lūl, and it is on the pattern yaf'ūl, and it was said: Al-ya'ālīl: those excessive in whiteness.
وهو يتعال ناقته: يحلب علالتها، والصبي يتعال ثدي أمه.
And he ya'ālīl his she-camel: he milks its 'alālah, and the child ya'ālīl his mother's breast.
ويقال في المجهول: هو فلان ابن علان.
And it is said in the passive: He is so-and-so, son of 'Allān.
